“La Lune” our upcoming summer pop-up shop is around the corner. The inspiration behind the collection is quite fantastic. One of the main inspirations for this pop-up is the lovely silent French movie Le Voyage Dans La Lune by Georges Melies. Filmed in 1902, the movie is about an Astronomical club that plans an expedition to the moon. What is amazing about this movie is that the lavish production value, forward-thinking special effects, and emphasis on storytelling which were quite impressive for its time. Definitely, a movie that is worthwhile.
